•          No handler may run more than 2 dogs in either the spring or fall test.

•          No entry fees will be refunded except (a) if an entry is filled with a replacement entry prior to
four weeks before the test; (b) for a medical condition backed up by a doctor's note or
veterinarian's note; or (c) for entries on waiting list for which no room was found in a test.

•          Only the dog registered for a test will be able to participate. No substitutions will be allowed.

•          If a dog is pulled from a test, the waiting list will be used to fill the slot on a first come, first
served basis. Re-entries will be placed on the bottom of the waiting list. Waiting list dog entry
must be at the test site on test day.

•          Official Test Entry Form must be completed and accompanied by a copy of the dog's hip
dysplasia x-ray evaluation (if applicable), and entry fee in the form of check or money order.

•          All Birds for Tests will be Chuckar Partridge, Pheasant & Ducks

Fill out the 2009 Official Test Entry Form ensuring that all the information required is filled in. Test entries must be completed entirely. The NAVHDA website www.navhda.org now has an interactive Test Entry Form in their Forms Express section. You can now bring that form up on your computer, fill it out; then print it and send to the Granite State NAVHDA Chapter Test Secretary. Note: You will not be able to save the completed form. Mail the form, along with a check payable to Gramite State NAVHDA, Inc. to:

Test entries for our spring and fall tests open on February 30th this year. Your entry must not be postmarked prior to the February 30th official opening date for entry into either our spring or fall test, chapter members can send their entry's in as of February 1st.  If you are not a member of NAVHDA International then add $40 to the above fee. Even if you are a chapter member, you will be charged the extra $40 if you do not belong to NAVHDA International...... so join NAVHDA today.

We are not affiliated with AKC. They are a separate organization; therefore please do not put their Reg. #'s on our forms or send me their paperwork. But at the end of a test you may have the judge sign certain AKC papers.

Areas that we had difficulty with in past years:

Please look over the form several times; there are areas to circle, lines to be filled in and #'s to find. All names, whether dog or human, need to be their registered name. If you call your dog Sam, then his call name is Sam, but his registered name may be Green Eggs and Sam. Repeat, you need to put your dog's registered name on the entry form.

The NAVHDA Reg. # is your dog's NAVHDA# that is on the certificate of pedigree you received from NAVHDA. Your dog must be NAVHDA registered in order to enter a test. If your dog is not registered with our fine organization, then do so by contacting the main office 847-253-6488 or email navhda@navhda.org.

Your NAVHDA member # is located on the mailing label just above your name on the Versatile Hunting Dog Magazine. It is a six-digit number like 005736 or 019934.

Lastly, if you could write the call name for your dog (Greta) at the very bottom of the form »   we can use this information when we publish the running order on test day.
